Project Information
Objective
The objective of this project is to construct a 3D laser scanning confocal microscope with 1um resolution and a scanning speed of 1s/2D-scan.
Check Point Goals
- Primary - Redesign optical setup and demonstrate 2D scanning at ~um resolution
- Secondary - Add optimize 3D scanning capabilities and image processing
- Tertiary - Develop teaching exercises and write AJS paper
