Goals

  • Firm up knowledge of geometric optics
  • Learn about limits of detection in microscopy
  • Build brightfield/fluorescence microscope
  • Learn to calculate the PSF of a microscope
  • If time allows, write a python script to deconvolve the PSF with the image
